My Sister

First mum went through the proud period when people go "You have two beautiful daughters, are they twin?"
Then, mum went through the "jaw-dropping" period when people go "So, you have one boy and one girl! Well done!!"
..then, the embarrassing period when people go "Your son has beautiful golden tanned complexion and your daughter has fair complexion like mommy".
..and then, mum had headaches when teachers go "I'm sorry, I can't teach her any longer. She came into my class and fight with those boys behind the classroom. You must send her home and don't send her back again"
..and mum had another headache when people go "Your plum size son/daughter (??!) is so adorable!! (Yea, she was once a mini beer barrel).
..we went through a long period when people go "Are you sure you are both sister?....like both with the same parents?" (GOSH!!! OF COURSE we are, you idi*t!!!! We are definitely from the same parents!!) hehehe....
..and, we went through an annoying period when people go "Who's the older one?" (of course her, the shorter one, GOSH!!!..need to ask?!) hehehe...
..and when Shaun (my cousin aka my brother) went through the happiest period when people go "Woah, who is Shaunie's girlfriend in the photo? Both are pretty (we will exchange look and giggled).." (No! No! Shaun, we are the boss!!)
When my sister happily married to her hubby in January 2007, I went "Woohoo!! Off the hook!! Less pressure!! hehe...mom and dad had the best moment in life when their "son" finally gotten married!!
I always agree that my sister has sharp and beautiful features and she can be very attractive (if she doesn't talk) hehehee.....She is my one and only sister and I love her very much. Although we have lots of differences in tastes and styles but we always have fun laughing at each others!! She cares about me a lot and always come to my assistance whenever I need help and support. She is a very funny person and always win the hearts of people around her. She is a very family oriented person and she cares about everyone. Although she is bad at cooking and very fierce at times, she bosses around the house as though she knows it all. hehe....She is the Champ!!
You must know her, she is adorable :)

Beautiful City of Melbourne

Nothing seems to get me on a pump for the past 6 years I have been living in Melbourne. I guess I have never truly appreciate this city for I knew I'm going to be here for a very long time. Yep, I am taking it for granted and I could always capture any amazing view anytime, whenever I am ready to pick up my camera and go! Well, taking things for granted has always been human's worse behavior. I admit I am no exceptional, to be honest!

I agree we never appreciate things that are within our reach. Yet, care about it head over heels when it started to drift away.

I decided to perfect my "not-so-perfect" behavior by appreciating things around me. Life is short, thing changes every second and there is no take-2 in our life. You missed it for whatever reason...there can never be a deja vu.

I started to realize and learn that this city is beautiful by its nature....the feeling has just built up little by little everyday :)

I would like to share a few nice shots of Melbourne taken this year in my blog. I hope you will eventually fall in love with this beautiful city of Melbourne.

*Laugh Hard*
*Love Well*
*Be True*

I tend to be stubborn, and will hold onto a belief, or stick to a course of action through thick or thin (that's how my head gets bigger each day). Because of my positive nature, I tend to expect the best, and when things don't turn out as my expectation, I react immediately, badly and shockingly. Blunt and nasty when I have been affronted, I can be deeply hurt by malice or hostility and I hate fighting (no drama please). Although, I may suffer from short bouts of depression when life doesn't meet my expectations, I bounce back quickly and move on with my normal cheerful and demonstrative nature.

I am always walking forward, head held proudly and face turned towards the sun (for sun tanning purposes) heh..heh..I can be fussy but definitely not a complicated individual who knows what I want. To be precise, when I say 'Yes', don't ever say 'No' and I enjoy boss-ing around!! Take it or leave it has been my belief. (I made it up..by the way). heh..heh..

I enjoy swimming, outing, travelling, chilling out with friends, singing, dancing, cooking, baking, retail therapy, reading, food, food and more food (Oh glorious food! Fine dining top the list!!), driving people up the wall, and dominating (I made it up AGAIN!).
In term of my occupation, excuse me for I can only tell you that I work in the banking & finance industry. My teen-age was spent doing a lot of charity and voluntary works. I am currently an active member of Lions Club of Melbourne Chinese and a sponsorer in World Vision. I joined the Lions International movement when I was 14 and had achieved various International and National awards for my outstanding performance. I am a straight jacket person (ahhem!) and that clarified the guessing..yeah, I was a school prefect during my high school days (not so fierce but an up-tight one!) hahaa.. I represented my schools (elementary and high schools) in basketball, swimming and athletes (nope, I'm not a "runner", if you know what I mean). I was my school principle and most teachers' pet!! hehe...oh yeah man, I was popular during those days!! (gotta show off a bit) heh..heh..but those were the days!

The "best-est" and "proud-est" moment was when I organized a charity dinner and successfully raised $20,000 for my shcool and a children spastic home when I was 16! (I made it happened with all the supports from my group of wonderful friends!) I love you all :)

I love chocolate since I was a kid and I wish I am a chocolate engineer!!

In personal relationship, I fall into the "Avoider" category. I need a lot of time alone; often less talkative than my partner; sensitive to any form of control; give little information; withdraw when upset; have difficulty expressing my feelings; often very involved in my work.

I used to love this guy (my ex-boyfriend) very much but it's all history now. Things were tough once but we cleared the mess, as we appreciate the friendship and for all the ups and downs that we have gone through together. We think it is silly to keep on hurting both parties when we were once so much important to each other. He will always be my special friend although things did not work out as we expected. I heartily wish him well and lots of happiness. Although we no longer keeping in touch, which I think it's the best solution and it's all good now as I have moved on. I am a happy person again!! Mr Right will knock on the door someday :)
